Suave has recently launched a line of “professionals” products that mimic the expensive hair products out of the market. I tried two of them, and here is my review.
|Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo Spray, $3|
Dry Shampoo has made its way into many of our haircare routines. It dissolves oil and revives hair if you don’t have the time to wash it. It can also give a boost to roots and help disguise roots in between colorings. The only negative has been the price. A small bottle of Oscar Blandi costs $11.00 and lasts for two applications, if you’re lucky. This new dry shampoo by Suave does everything Blandi’s does with out the high price. It also smells good, unlike the others I have tried (Oscar Blandi and Salon Garphix). I have been using this bottle a few times a week for about a month and there is still a lot left.
|Suave Touchable Finish Super Hold Hairspray, $3|
Suave Professionals Touchable Finish Super Hold Hairspray is supposed to compare to Paul Mitchell’s Freeze and Shine Super Spray. My main gripe with hairspray is that after you’ve applied it, your hair feels dirty later. This hairspray did not do that. It has a decent hold, smells good and performs like a higher end hairspray. I wouldn’t call it spectacular, but a great value at around $3.
