When is the last time you replaced your shower sponge?

How old is your shower sponge or mitt? If it has been in your shower longer than one month, it’s too old! Even though it may look clean, bacteria can grow in those bath accessories making them unhealthy. Cleanlogic Bath and Body has created a line of anti‐microbial accessories formulated with Silpure® technology. Silpure is a fiber treatment formulated to prevent mold or bacteria growth. The accessories are then coated with Ultra-‐Fresh®, an anti-‐microbial technology to provide additional layer of protection and to extend product life. Silpure is used in hospital textiles and has been found effective in controlling the spread of MRSA.

The Cleanlogic “Scrubbies” line has more than eight different sponges, poufs and gloves, all around $4 each. You can find them in selected retailers including Walgreens, Drugstore.com and their own Amazon webstore.

Cleanlogic 1 The nice people at Cleanlogic have given me five Exfoliating Bath Mitts for five lucky readers! This shower mitt gently scrubs the skin to stimulate blood circulation, scrub away dead skin cells and helps control cellulite. If you would like to win one, all you have to do is comment below by January 30, 2013! I will contact the winners via email. Sorry USA, over 18 entrants only. Your email and name will not be posted and we will not use this information for anything other than the contest. If you would like, you can follow me and Cleanlogic on Twitter and Facebook.

  1. I have 2 different poufs & I use them like once a week..these sponges sound awesome .. I like that they are mold & mildew proof!!
    Thank you 🙂

  2. I have tossed my old one but keep forgetting to replace it! Would love to try one of these! Thanks for the giveaway!

  3. These look and sound amazing…I’m “spring cleaning” and tossing all of the old bath poufs, sponges, everything…I’m tired of throwing them in the washing machine…lol

  4. I would love to try one of these. I hate using loofahs, I always think they have so many hidden germs… YUCK!!

  5. Ironically, I use something similar on my car when it makes far more sense to use it on my body. Thank you for the opportunity to win it.
