My hair is in the category of fine and thin, so when I saw this foam conditioner in the store I decided to give it a try. The Pantene Foam Conditioners come in six variations that match other Pantene product lines. I like the Classic Clean line so I bought the foam version.
To use the foam, shampoo first and then dispense a palm full into your hand. Work it through your hair from root to tip and rinse. I found the foam easy to dispense and apply, but it was hard to tell if it penetrated all the hair. When I dried my hair it kind of felt like when you go to a hotel and use that tiny bottle of conditioner. My hair was straw-like in certain patches and didn’t feel anything like when I use regular Pantene Conditioner.
Pantene released these foam conditioners about six months ago and they are still trying to get them to catch on. They might work better for someone with shorter hair or people that really don’t like thick conditioners. Right now you can get a buy-one-get-one free coupon that work on the foams and the micellar shampoos and conditioners at PG&E and coupons.com.
