The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Black Friday Beauty Shopping for 2019

Get all your favorite deals without spending all day shopping.

Black Friday is the best time of the year to pick up beauty deals, for gifts and to outfit your own makeup kit. Deals can be had at the big beauty retailers, brand websites as well as your local drugstore. The best way to snatch up those great deals is to make a list and plan ahead. Stalk your favorite websites, look through Black Friday ads and sign up for accounts to be ready for game time. You can even go online and put items in your cart so all you have to do is hit “checkout”. Here is a rundown of some of the best deals on Black Friday makeup and skincare, plus a little secret if you’re too lazy to look at every site.

Beauty retailer Sephora has Black Friday offerings in-store and online every year. Many of the deals are special limited edition sizes or palettes. Beginning on Nov. 21, 2019 Sephora is giving customers that download the Sephora app a preview of the specials. Deals include Pat McGrath mini lipsticks for $15, Becca Prime, Set & Glow, $15 and Philosophy Limited Edition Purity Made Simple Cleanser, $15. New deals will be added up to Black Friday.

Black Friday at ULTA begins on Thanksgiving night in-store at 5 p.m. and 4 p.m. online (CST). This year ULTA has a variety of super trial size specials and some deals on full size products. Some of my favorites are the $10 Urban Decay mascaras, the $18 NARS Orga$m lip and cheek kit and 30 percent of Serovital. You can see all the specials here.

You might not think about Nordstrom as one of the key stores to find beauty deals, but that’s because you don’t know this little secret. Nordstrom will price match almost all of the makeup and skincare products it sells against other department stores, brand sites and beauty retailers. The prices are also listed on the site, keeping you from having to go through hoops to get the price. Oh, and shipping is free too!
